Pros

The people who work here are great for the most part. I have a great manager, but a few of the other managers can be quite difficult to deal with and put their own quotas above their employees. The benefits are great, but vacation days are pretty worthless if you don't feel like you can use them due to the workload you come back to. The atmosphere from a work culture point of view is great, but the team leads and managers are overworked and they can make you feel like you can't ask questions.

Cons

If you've worked in a call center atmosphere before then you know what to expect. You're pretty much chained to your desk because of the phone queue software monitoring your every move. You can move up very quickly within the company, but be ready to make this your life if you want to do so. They really need to work on providing constant help in the help chats that the Account Managers use because the team leads or managers who are helping are constantly taken away for some client escalation and you're left hanging there with a client on the phone who needs an answer.

Pros

Work remote. Fantastic leaders, Definitely a place I have enjoyed working.

Cons

Pay is slightly less than competitors but work life balance and culture make up for it.

Pros

There used to be many. By the time I left all of the pros had been phased out. The only pro was allowing some people to stay remote- but if you wanted to advance in your career you would be forced back in office.

Cons

Low pay. Micromanaging. Hiring leadership from outside Paylocity and even outside of the industry. Major and extreme departmental changes rapidly. Change is a part of business but in six months my role became unrecognizable. I was there for five years and had planned to be there for much longer. This last year was terrible. Low communication from all leadership. Higher and higher expectations of employees with no bonuses or pay raises to accommodate. My regional director was forcing people out and speaking badly about employees regularly.
