Pros

Paydock is a very exciting company to work for. Although I work in a specific department, I feel that each employee (regardless of their department) work as a team to achieve a single goal. The work we perform at Paydock is of the highest standard, and this is driven by our senior managers, and leaders. We are given time, when applicable, to research and learn about new technologies or skills to enhance our results. The senior managers and leaders are hands on, very encouraging, and lead by example. They are very approachable, and I feel as though I can contact them if needs be. Paydock allows working from home, and there is no pressure to go into the office. When office visits are made, other team members make the effort to come in as well. We have a great working and social community, which helped me settle in quickly when I joined.

Cons

When I first started, the working ours could be quite long (over the expected 8 hour day), due to a specific tasks needing completion. I don't see this as big negative however, because these scenarios rarely occur now as new processes have been put into place. (We were given the required breaks if needed during these longer working hours.) This is a great example of a negative turning into a positive due to the senior managers and leaders responding.
