Pros
Other vet techs and vet tech manager are wonderful. Lots of great clients! Understanding of family/work life balance and time off.
Cons
Low pay. The vet is unstable, rude, passive-aggressive, and does not know how to communicate with her employees. Many times I learned about a behavior of mine the vet would like me to improve by overhearing her talking negatively about me to other employees. She also loves to make passive aggressive comments rather than discuss issues directly with you. The vet also spends any "free" time watching youtube videos and Judge Judy and sleeping in the staff room. She refers to her employees as "the help". A really stressful, hostile work environment where you are afraid to ask for help or clarification because you are scared to upset the vet. A constant environment of walking on eggshells.
