Casual atmosphere, hour lunch, weekly pay, home like atmosphere, company get-togethers, second, third and fourth chances, free coffee and tea. Showed me exactly what kind of company not to work for.
Cons
You cannot continually do the same thing and expect different results. It is a casual atmosphere with the owners dogs and cats. Dogs that crap and urinate on the floor and cats that have overrun a file room complete with the shedding hair in files to show. The dogs have bit employees on numerous occasions with the owners chuckling and reprimanding the employees for looking, running away or reacting to them. There isn't any faith in employees. I understand and also agree with a customer is always right mentality and making the customer happy but I do not agree with the bad mouthing of an employee to that customer to save face. The micromanagement is severe. One owner lacks emotional intelligence and will take you through her whirlwind of emotions, from tears to beet red faced and screaming profanities. There are many chances given to the drivers and they will be reminded of the opportunity on a daily basis unless you are one driver in particular that actively welcomes inappropriate behavior. You will have the opportunity to learn about everyone elses personal issues as well as your own being put on display. Everything is done in the open to avoid any EOE issues as they have been accused before on more than one occasion. If there issues were of any measure to what I have witnessed it is sad that they have merit and were ignored. There are so many more issues to list but cannot even convince myself to write more of this negative experience.
