Pros

Paid time off from day one and they do work with your schedule.

Cons

I was fired after working there for one week and I still don't understand why. I had a meeting with my supervisor at 11:30 and he told me everything was going great and that I was performing at warehouse 3 numbers and he asked if I was planning on staying with the company long-term to which I said yes. After the meeting I went back to work and was called into the office for another meeting in which he said " I'm sorrybut I spoke with other mgt and we don't know if we want you back on Monday?! It then took me three additionadays to actually get a reason which was we just didn't feel that you fit in. During the interview process they tell you that they don't fire people for no reason but that sure looks like as lie at this point. There is also a lack of training it seems. I was also told that they took many steps to retain employees but it seems like this was a lie as well.

Pros

Patterson has been in business for 145 years and is a stable, essential business, specializing in the distribution of dental and veterinary supplies around the U.S., Canada and the UK. Our culture is very diverse and we have such a sense of family amongst employees. Patterson is very generous in pay and PTO, as well excellent benefits and family leave time. We only work Monday through Friday as well and most fulfillment centers don't. I am so proud to work for this company whose core values include People First and they start with their employees.

Cons

In our fulfillment center there is a lot of last minute overtime required.

Pros

You have money coming in

Cons

They work off a merit bases, so it means if you don't get a certain amount received in and put away you will not get your raise in Dec. Benefits are pricey, Now it has been privatized so it will be much worse. Pay Sucks
