For psych students it’s great to work with individuals directly—get to know people instead of relying on textbook diagnosis. It can be a lot of fun and you learn a lot! Good benefits.

Management is good overall but financially it was hard to sustain due to reduced rates for certain services. However I would absolutely do it again if given the choice.

Challenging but fun and rewarding working with clients. Great learning experience especially if your interest is in psych field.

Pay is based on different levels of service, so some hours are a lot higher than others (or at least, were when I was there). A lot of families are having trouble finding workers right now, and I think that offering more financial support (especially considering the cost of living in Raleigh these days) would attract more consistent employees.
