Pros

Decent starting pay, state benefits/ insurance, free supervision for associate licensed counselors, built in yearly raises based on exceeding productivity goals and your documentation audit scores, great co-workers, they promote from within

Cons

Whatever percentage raise you get each year is the percentage they raise your productivity goal for the following year, upper management hasn't always looked out for my coworkers or done right by them during COVID, medium-high employee turnover rate

Pros

The Patients, you'll feel like you're making a huge difference with the patients. They really do make the job bearable.

Cons

Too many chiefs not enough Indians. No one will let you get your job done without telling on you. It very aggravating, especially if you know you do your job.

Pros

Hires pre-licensed counselors which is great for entry-level MH professionals, clinical manager at Care Campus is amazing and very supportive, collaborative team setting, exposure to a variety of populations and presenting problems, flexible-ish schedule (can work 4 days a week if needed/desired), good holiday pay, supportive coworkers on clinical team

Cons

No opportunity for raise following licensure, 1 to 1.5 days of PTO accrued monthly (no sick days, vacation days, etc.), requirement to work weekends/holidays/in severe weather, little to no employer assistance for mental health/burnout, repeated daily exposure to vicarious trauma, everyone on staff is burned out constantly, low pay and no bonuses, overwhelming amount of daily tasks, nearly impossible to achieve standards for documentation and task completion, collaborating with nursing staff is very challenging, often forced to work OT due to documentation completion expectations
