Pros
Proactive and eager to learn: I have been taking lots of initiatives and my manager has been supporting me very well. I have been given the opportunity to take on more responsibility, which has helped me to gain experience and develop my skills. Supportive manager: My manager is always available to help me and answer my questions. They have been a great resource for me and have helped me to navigate the internship and make sure that I am getting the most out of it. Approachable colleagues: Everyone in the company is approachable and they genuinely care about me. I feel comfortable asking for help and support from my colleagues, which has been a great way to learn and grow. Exposure for growth: I have been provided with lots of exposure for growth. I have been working on projects that are relevant to my career goals and I have been gaining experience in a variety of HR functions. This has helped me to develop my skills and knowledge and has given me a glimpse into the inner workings of a successful company. Hybrid work: I have been able to work a hybrid schedule, which has allowed me to work from home some days and from the office on other days. This has been a great way to get the best of both worlds and has allowed me to be more productive and have a more flexible lifestyle.
Cons
I am still trying to figure out some downsides of working here, but cannot come up with any!
Pros
The company was built on a great mission of tackling the issue of medication adherence. Lots of dedicated and smart people hired.
Cons
The execution and the way business decisions are made here are an absolute disaster. They have a great idea, but it's meaningless if the founders don't have the business acumen to be execute at a high level and be a profitable business. They just laid off a significant portion of their corporate and clinic staff after securing $8M in Series A funding. Big, big red flag. To lay people off weeks after hiring them is just irresponsible hiring and screwing with people's livelihoods. RUN!
