Pros

- nice colleagues but I recruited them

Cons

- bad work place culture - low pay - no days in lieu for all the extra time put in or working public holidays - no feedback or training provided - no mentorship - no opportunity to advance - speak poorly of former employees - was never given any negative feedback but was fired out of the blue told ‘they’re heading in a different direction’ - high turn over was fired before 12 months in role - worked 6 days a week by myself for over a month and was never given time back or paid - greenwashing is huge, everything comes in plastic, huge amounts of waste - the back of house processes and repairs are a mess - so much stock sitting stagnant it’s harmful to the environment - one complaint from a customer that happens to be a friend of someone in head office can get you fired - absolute boys club, if you’re not a surfer they won’t advance you even if you have extensive outdoor knowledge - you are expected to answer any alarm disruptions in your personal time - pretends to be progressive but is run by boomers in the same role for decades
