Pros

Have some good products as long as you stay away from Partsmaster branded products.

Cons

Compensation is really terrible especially for management. Make commitments and don’t follow through. Communication is terrible throughout the company. Customers orders take to long to get there on average 5-7 days. To many back orders. Very limited product line Recruiting is somewhat a young team and very slow at communication along with follow through. They don’t go over any contacts or paperwork you may sign to make sure you fully understand rules of engagement. This goes for your management. Technology is way behind the times. Very dated making it hard to do job no matter the position you hold. Once on rules of engagement change, pay structure, territory, communication and most importantly things they ask you to do. They will give you directions to do things and once there is an issue you will be terminated. Do your homework before taking a position with Partsmaster. They have along ways to go before they will be able to truly compete.

Pros

We are growing steadily, which means opportunity for new positions and for current employees to learn new processes needed, possibly advancing themselves

Cons

We were a "work family" and team, with motivational, respectful leadership under Matt Oldroyd, and saw our best year ever. That seems to have been pushed aside by new management. Motivation is "if you can't meet my demands, I'll find someone who can" or "not getting this done is not an option and it doesn't matter if you have to work weekends and more." Way too much politics and game playing going on among the new people instead of honest, respectful teamwork.
