Pros
First, I want to say I posted this review after seeing all the recent POSITIVE reviews from what looks like an organized attempt by the company to stem the tide of negative reviews. I simply want others to know what I have experienced. Location, Location, Location: My drive time to work is less than 20 minutes in the worst traffic. Plowed Parking Lot: Most often this is done before I arrive at work. Friends: They say lasting friendships are formed when "under fire". I have to agree. 401K: A positive thing and the market seems to make it even more positive
Cons
1) Poor Management Practices: Every single day I see examples of management acting poorly. They are always sneaking around and planning behind closed doors, rarely including those that are responsible for the project or task being done. 2) Intimidation: From the very top of the company down to lowest management, I have seen employees chastised, harrassed and ridiculed. Snide comments are often made. I have never heard a single bit of encouragement given. 3) No Real Plan: Maybe there is some top secret plan that employees aren't aware of, but there just seems to be NO DIRECTION at all. At my level I would think that there would be quarterly or monthly meetings to discuss the progress of any plan. Nothing aparently exists. We all work every day doing what we "think" will help the company grow. 4) Health Insurance: I must depend on my SO for coverage.
