Good pay for the job, Management was level headed

Coworkers are kind of meh, The people behind the bar should stay home. Not sure why the people are there when they clearly don't wanna be there. Got stuck doing everything while entitled coworkers leaned against the back bar with their arms crossed.

Talented and passionate coworkers who genuinely care about coffee and quality.

Retaliation against pro-union employees. Workers who supported organizing were micromanaged, isolated, or quietly pushed out. Closed-door “conversations” used to intimidate or guilt staff during the union drive. Leadership preaches “community” and “transparency” while actively undermining collective bargaining. Longtime roasters and production staff are treated as disposable once they speak up. Pay inequities and a lack of consistent structure despite heavy workloads. No clear paths for advancement or recognition of experience. Management more concerned with optics and PR than actual employee well-being. Post-union atmosphere defined by distrust, silence, and performative check-ins instead of real dialogue. A culture of fear and favoritism replaces collaboration and respect. Communication only flows one way, from the top down.
