- the amount of layoffs this company has is insane, I've never seen anything like it. We are running with a skeleton crew right now making it hard to keep your head above water. - no raises for years now! - in May, they laid off the entire product team including a person who had come back from medical leave after cancer treatment, a person who was out on paternal leave, and a person who had come back from parental leave who had all the product knowledge and carried the entire team. They decided to keep the temp worker who was hired to only cover her paternal leave. It was quite shocking. How can a company have a product without a product management team?? - they cut the engineering team earlier this year making it difficult to meet delivery expectations - ceo knows nothing about the actual product or how it works which means we execute on the wrong things or pivot, constantly - constant turnover, especially in CS and sales for not reaching totally unrealistic sales goals - legacy platforms mean anytime we make updates to the product, something else breaks - little transparency from leadership and widespread anxiety over when another layoff will happen - the OG crew who had all of the product and industry knowledge is mostly gone because ceo personally did not like them
