Pros

Pariveda is truly a place that cares about growing people to their highest potential. Dedicated mentorship ensures Fins get 1:1 coaching from higher level cohorts and the potential to learn and practice mentorship skills. Each 6 months, Fins receive new career development points and a semi-annual review, providing a fairly tight feedback loop in terms of career progression. Pariveda has clear expectations to level the playing field in terms of performance and a well-defined career path. Transparent salaries and solid benefits. Excellent people and culture as well as interesting clients/projects make Pariveda an awesome place to level-up quickly.

Cons

Fins are expected to work 40 billable in addition to internal initiatives, which can end up stacking up when trying to complete the POV process and juggling mentorship. Fast paced, generalist work environment will be uncomfortable for those who don't want quick growth or who want to specialize.

Pros

Incredible peer group. It’s like the kids from all your honors programs in one place. Yet at Pariveda they’re all cool, interesting, and collaborative. The environment is set up so people are not in competition with each other. You earn promotion on your merits and a transparent framework. If you dedicate yourself, there is no place where you can grow faster than at Pariveda.

Cons

The personal demands can be high. It’s not a “60 hours a week” high. More like: intensely focusing on personal growth, always seeking to learn, helping others grow is an intense mindset. Plus, you look around and the baseline bar is really high Pariveda is in a state of change. That change is bringing some chaos and morale issues.
