Pros
You would be hard-pressed to find a company with better benefits and culture. PTO is extremely generous (4 weeks for entry-level with an ability to purchase a 5th) and using it all is highly encouraged. All insurance premiums are paid 100% by Pariveda as well as very generous 401k matching and HSA/FSA contributions. On top of that, it is extremely evident that the company is always trying to improve these benefits and the work culture. In the short time I've been with the company I've seen them add a flex holiday, start several new diversity/inclusion initiatives, and host a number of socials to help further strengthen the workplace culture. Some other qualities that I really appreciate about Pariveda are the transparent and equitable salaries, the commitment to people-development, and the adoption of the holacracy management practice. As a consultant, I have the ability to share my preferences on what sort of project I want to work on and I can consistently see those preferences reflected in my assignments. This includes factors such as tech stack, industry, team-size, and more. I also have the ability to further explore interest areas outside of client-work through the holacratic system. Through holacracy, I am able to get involved with any number of internal initiatives which range from research into new tech, recruitment, affinity groups, and more. The ability to explore individual interests has resulted in several of my coworkers finding new passion areas and switching career trajectory accordingly (i.e., switching from consulting to talent development). For all these reasons, I honestly can't see myself leaving Pariveda for a long time to come.
Cons
Sick time is considered the same as PTO, so while the PTO policy is still generous it isn't quite as good as it seems.
