Pros
I was interviewed in person, unlike other agencies. PIAP looked into all of my references, offered training in areas where it was needed, reinforced best practices, and educated me on their services to local families as well as larger corporations. I always feel well prepared going into a new job. When working with teams, I find the other caregivers are similarly passionate about their work, excellent problem-solvers and generally low-drama. PIAP has helped me navigate difficult families and truly advocate for me when I need support. They are an invaluable resource in a competitive market and set the standard in Boston and the surrounding communities. I enthusiastically recommend them to other caregivers and families.
Cons
The application process was a bit lengthy and complicated, but I happily tell families that every caregiver is thoroughly vetted. I don't see this as a con.
