Pros
-relaxed, casual environment -flexible working hours -good Xmas party
Cons
-lowest salary of the industry in town, often they employ people straight off the boat who are thankful to be given a chance, not realising they're worth a lot more. The company makes sure you know you're expandable and so rather than giving you a raise for hard work and exceptional efforts, they will hire the next person, which is cheaper. -other than the Mary Gober, no formal training -nowhere to progress unless you're Dutch, even the senior VP said so in his 1 on 1 meetings, in so many words -since relocating a lot of departments to Poland, the Amsterdam office's spirits have hit rock bottom -some of the managers started out working in the department they're now managing, and have been made managers because they just stuck it out for so long, they don't have any people managing skills or training. -working environment can sometimes feel like more like a high school than a corporation
