Pros

...that I'm out of there....

Cons

One thing in common we see in many of the comments here is, Paramount management levels from mid-managers to directors to leaderships are incompetent across different teams, they simply take credits from experienced ICs work and pretend with no shame that they lead something when they can't or have no knowledge/experience to do so. Leadership/directors/managers lead with favoritism, such as promoting a novice, inexperienced person who may be previously worked a cafe job and started here at a junior level, to be in a director position in less than a couple years here, when the role like that would/should need years of experience in corporates. It also evidently reflects in the persons' attitudes, manners, and how they perform when working together cross-functional teams. Same thing happens constantly within your own team. It's a joke how they run things here, don't waste your talents and time.

Pros

People who were at Paramount before the Skydance merger remain talented and amazing people.

Cons

The post-Skydance merger Paramount is an aimless corporate with zero resources, and respect for existing employees. Senior management are coming from Disney, and they’re hiring all their previous Disney colleagues, while laying off employees that have been at Paramount through ages. There has also been a shift in demographics where White men control the power. It’s disheartening to see amazing legacy leadership get demoted and sidelined in favor of incoming White male leaders from Disney. The new senior management will say things like, “We want to invest in people that will stay with us and grow,” yet layoff an entire division that have kept this company running through all the transitions. The disrespect is just ridiculous.
