1. Can learn skills others than translation and proofreading from performing admin, accounting and customer service tasks 2. Interesting job nature if you’re into language and grammar 3. Supportive coworkers

1. Poor division of work and serious manpower shortage 2. Proofreading tasks greatly outnumber translation tasks 3. High turnover rate because of low pay, heavy workload and zero compensation for frequent overtime work 4. Verbal violence and sexist speech from the owner/boss of the company 5. Dishonest job ad NOT mentioning the 5.5 days work week (before probation) or the actual working location 6. Fair hygiene condition in the office (cockroaches are found occasionally) 7. Late cheque payment of salary from time to time
