Management is keen on allowing their analysts to further their education and obtain a CFA designation. They hold a high expectation of their analysts. It's a smaller firm, so you work very closely with PMs in making investment decisions. Starting out as a new analyst, this is a good opportunity but perhaps a bad fit for analysts with a lot experience.

The investment process can feel less rigorous and more idiosyncratic. The pay can also be a little low, but this is primarily due to the hiring of very young, novice analysts.
