Pros

Some people are nice, but many are not as nice as they seem. They do give you a wfh stipend and products.

Cons

I worked at Parade for a couple of months and did not see a future there. So many things could be incredible if management wasn't entirely terrible. They do not care about you. Period. Management loves to use the phrase "move like water," meaning that you can adjust and think on your feet with flexibility. But in reality, this is a cute way to say "we aren't organized enough to have any kind of concrete plans in place, so you are expected to work thanklessly until 11PM or later if we forget to tell you about an urgent project, or decide to change our minds about something simple and pointless at 5:55." To summarize: work/life balance.... Parade's never heard of it. I have worked at a lot of start ups and understand the scrappy mentality you need to have to thrive in that kind of environment. This company takes it to a ridiculous new level of bad though. Anxiety-inducing disorganization, a very obvious preference for some employees over others, and it's not possible to make progress on anything because of careless decisions from management. Every day feels like hitting a wall, and then getting run over by a truck, collapsing from exhaustion, and then being told all your work wasn't enough. I was seriously surprised how rotten everything really is from the inside out.
