Pros
PAPER TRANSPORT is not a small company, but it is not a huge company either. You actually get to meet some of the key players in the company. I can honestly say, they have been extremely nice and down to earth. They have made me feel appreciated. I retired from the federal government, so I know how it feels to not be appreciated. The company tries to keep us in good running equipment. If it doesn't run or stays broke down, we can't make money and neither can the company. They really try to keep things running smoothly. I began OTR with PTI. I was home every weekend. I chose a day cab, a few months ago so I could be home at night, frankly I like sleeping in my own bed..lol I would tell you the pay is great, but who is ever paid enough. Lol, I do think I'm paid well. I really enjoy my work for PTI especially when my wife rides along with me. I would say PTI is a great company and they will work with their employees.
Cons
Some days are very long about 16 hours, thank goodness this is not often..lol need automatic trailer jacks,,not going to happen. I have found nothing really negative at PTI.
