Pros
You get a lot of creative freedom, annual reviews with potential for salary bumps and title raises, jewish holidays off, and short Fridays. You get to work with the latest technology and you work in a relaxed, quiet environment
Cons
Management is terrible, where there is a lot of favoritism going on. The department has a lot of drama and gossip going around so you have to be careful what you say and to whom. There's no HR and you must follow a lot of unspoken rules. There's no 401K or any help with benefits.
