The misogyny of the engineering managers is extremely apparent in the total number of women devlopers in the entire engineering team ( which is the heart of the company). The entire engineering team is comprised of native Tamil speakers and favouritism is extremely common. They will start speaking in Tamil in front of you even during important discussions. Almost everybody works till late in the night and working on weekends is the norm. You will get by if you just have a good enough relationship with your manager and are a Tamilian ofc, and be protected time and again without actually putting in the work. Case in point : A QA was saved and even praised, even though it was so evident that he was not even testing basic flows of the ticket and developers ( non-Tamil) were blamed when production bugs were consequently raised. And also, there are no manager reviews or feedback, so there won't be any check if you are being treated fairly or not. For north-Indians : They are very close to being a Lala company that are so common in Gurugram, just better disguised, so beware.
