Genuine Pros: If you have nothing, you can join this company, especially as a fresher. Fresher can get a number of experience which is required in the industry, from here. If you would like to have a kind of Govt. Job, where you do not need to grow and be empowered with time, then you can join this. If you are not a hardworking person and a person who just wants to finish the work like a typical 9-5 job, then you can join this. If you do not want to work hard and be happy with a 10% hike every year or hike that is everyone getting regardless of your work and performance, then you can join this. This is absolutely kind of Govt. job
Cons
This is absolutely kind of Govt. job... where your efforts, hard work, punctuality, communication skills, client handling skills, proactive approach, learning attitude, problem-solving skills do not matter at all. After all these, you will be treated as per your experience and will get as per the number of years of experience you have rather than your knowledge and performance throughout the year. Your senior will get a better hike just because they are having a greater number of years and less knowledge than you. Workload is a lot but never was the problem if management appreciate the performance by the hike in appraisal. No appraisal cycle then can delay anytime with any T&C. And yes, favoritism is the most common culture in this security testing team.
