Pros

Free subway pass, some snacks in the office

Cons

> ZERO reason to be onsite (all tasks are done online), but you're still forced to come in - You need to bring your own laptop, mouse, keyboard, etc. - Silent and depressing office (like a self-study zone in the library) > LAZY HR. They used to ask you to find someone to cover your work before requesting leave. This should be HR's job. Later on, they just dump it on managers. > When you ask HR anything, they usually just tell you to go ask your manager. > HR doesn't even organize any activities, not even an annual dinner. We only had takeout lunch once in the office when it was close to Christmas, quite petty indeed. > Job ad said it's a remote position, but they only mention the mandatory 5-day office policy in the final interview round. > You can't take leave for more than 10 days at once, even if you have already acquired more than 10 days leave, or if you offer to take no pay leave. > Salary is way below the industry average as well.
