Pros

OFFICE TEAM IS FRIENDLY AND COOPERATIVE WITH ONE ANOTHER.

Cons

Extreme turnover rate here. People are let go often without warning and even on occasion without just cause. You don't feel stable here. I personally received many kudos and favorable feedback. I received 2 raises in a 9 month period, which you think would make you feel secure and valued. I was told after several folks were terminated and others voluntarily resigned, not to be worried, that I was doing a fine job. Not more than a couple months after that conversation, I was called into a conference room and told simply "the company was moving in a new direction and my position was being eliminated", I was told it wasn't personal and my work was appreciated. I was provided 3 weeks of severance pay, which I did appreciate since this was in December, during the holidays. While I was job hunting, I came across a PPS job posting with a new title, with a job description that essentially was my role. I wish I could say I was shocked, but after seeing how others were handled, I guess I should consider myself lucky. I did my job well, I did everything ever asked of me, I found tasks to do when I had down time, and always helped others. So, it felt personal. I had nothing to say except thanks when I was let go, since who wants to stay anywhere they're not wanted or appreciated. I came to PPS with a wealth of knowledge, and was always eager to take on more, they failed to leverage all my skills. I was offered a job from the very first job I interviewed at, following my exit from PPS. I have the experience, skills, and positive attitude to excel in any Administrative, Executive Assistant, or Office Manager Role.
