There is “zero tolerance for learning curve” here. You are expected to “hit-the-ground-running”. If your hired to replace a former employee, then you are expected to work just like the former employee’s performance and better. They tell you feel free to ask questions but if you do then you get judged by management. Be careful what you ask and how you ask it.
