Pros

Line employees genuinely care about each other and their jobs, the work in and of itself isn't too difficult, plenty of opportunities to work with other segments of the company, work can also be extremely interesting if you get in on the right initiative or task group, pay is pretty decent and benefits are adequate.

Cons

Continuous cuts to staffing often to critically low levels with no contingency plans leading to employee burnout, continuous cuts to benefits, only real way to advance in the company is to leave and come back, day to day work is often compromised to work on corporate special projects often with little to no bearing on core corporate needs, heavily fragmented corporate structure with often obstructive managers (particularly with groups in Utah), corporate culture pays lip service to safety/customer service/reliability without actually investing in improvements, executive management is either willingly ignorant or apathetic to these issues.

Pros

The employees that actually and actively do work and come together.

Cons

This company promotes bullying and has zero work life balance, they basically have reverted back to the 50s in relation to office first policy! So equated and behind the generations. The CEO Darin Carroll of Pacificorp was on a zoom call saying how he dislikes WFH as he was obviously at home on the call, you just can't make this stuff up, VPs quit and they turn around and get promoted because no one wants to work for a culture of favoritism and bullying!
