Pros

Work is technically interesting and can be impactful. Opportunities to learn exist if the team environment is supportive.

Cons

The department director often focuses on blame rather than coaching, and some feedback discourages collaboration or asking questions. Favoritism exists at multiple levels, affecting recognition, advancement, and project opportunities. Some senior peers can be condescending or unhelpful, with instances of harsh public criticism. The small team experiences frequent turnover due to stress and limited growth opportunities. Higher-level leadership,(department VP), is likely aware of these patterns, yet the underlying issues remain unaddressed.

Pros

The employees that actually and actively do work and come together.

Cons

This company promotes bullying and has zero work life balance, they basically have reverted back to the 50s in relation to office first policy! So equated and behind the generations. The CEO Darin Carroll of Pacificorp was on a zoom call saying how he dislikes WFH as he was obviously at home on the call, you just can't make this stuff up, VPs quit and they turn around and get promoted because no one wants to work for a culture of favoritism and bullying!
