Pros

Iconic name, America, decent bonfire beer

Cons

Mismanaged company creating 4 lay offs in 2025 along with the "release" of the CFO (whoever that was), the CEO (Paul Chibe) and CSO. #1 problem was Pabst could not product product to keep the shelves stocked #2 problem moved from Miller Coors contract brewing PBR to City Brewing in Irwindale, CA and then 6 months later decided they were not producing and move to a deal with Budweiser. #3 Incompetency with Distributor Order Managers #4 Unlimited Vacation is fake and a way for companies to cut corners

Cons

When I first joined, the culture felt cool, fun, and genuinely collaborative. The coworkers were friendly, and in the San Antonio office especially, the environment was laid-back but still fast-paced and productive. It was the kind of place where people worked hard but enjoyed being part of the team. Over time, that culture has shifted significantly. There now seems to be constant chaos, with ownership lacking a clear, consistent vision for the company’s direction. The frequent restructuring and layoffs have created an ongoing sense of instability, making it feel like a high-risk environment for anyone hoping to build long-term tenure. Additionally, leadership feels increasingly disconnected from day-to-day realities. Decisions often seem reactive rather than strategic, which has made it harder to feel aligned or confident in the company’s future.
