Great company - Underwriter PURE Insurance Employee Review

401k matching is average. Some of the new hires are starting out with way higher salaries than years ago. They could do more to get employees of four years to a higher level. There was a recent $2,500 increase to address this issue but it didn’t do much if you look closer at the numbers. A high performing Underwriter II shouldn’t be making $5K more than an Underwriting Analyst a year out of college. However, there is much room for career growth and compensation increases. Senior Underwriter and beyond is well into the six figures.
