Pros
Good work life balance, specially for women who get close to 4 months of maternity leave and work from home after. Very similar to public sector, not much work pressure or high expectations.
Cons
Very bureaucratic. Senior management is filled with technical people, who are not good people managers. Promotion is based on number of years of service in the organization and not on an individuals performance. Lack of direction and leadership, thus the below management level employees are less motivated or the one's who are self motivated quit.
