Pros
One can work from home. There is on-site gym, a nice pond to jog around nearby. There is on-site cafe, covered garage. Most software developers work in personal offices (not "cubic"), some with windows.
Cons
Old software to maintain. New technologies come with new acquired companies, but there are zilch opportunities to be transferred into these new projects, so usually it means 'stuck'.
