Nepotism at its extreme - you will see friends-of-friends hopping to higher job titles with no qualification. Zero growth for senior/principals - The tech stacks in some segments are most controlled by veteran employees leaving seniors and principals role less. The company can stop hiring seniors or principals, instead hire college graduates if most of the work is just “dictated”. Don’t get fooled by the promotions. Micromanagement - If you are lucky you would end up with the nicest manager with people skills. Others lack experience or have become a manager through acquisitions who enforce unethical standards to their teams. Diversity applies only to Boston. Lack of Stock options for CAD/PLM segments. Salary is well below market average for most segments.
