      Painful redundancies but still a good company - Manager Project Management PTC Employee Review

      Pros

      Exceptional focus on people & technology. There is a lot of support for employees and if you are a techie, then this is the company for you. Strategy is clear and is well communicated. If I was more technical and really passionate about what PTC does (I am more People Manager / Business Consultant) then I really would work for them again.

      Cons

      No job is ever truly "safe"... and if you don't find yourself aligning to the core strategy, then it's quite easy that you will be made redundant.

      Pros

      Great people, customers, products. The culture has improved significantly over the past 5 years or so, and now feels like a relatively modern software company. Exec leadership is very good, Neil is fantastic.

      Cons

      Mid-level exec leaders, VP level, are still very political. Salaries are way below average.
