Pros

Lax dress code, straightforward work tasks, team players. The job and its responsibilities themselves aren’t bad. My direct supervisor is amazing, and I do work with lots of people I like.

Cons

Bad management, stressful, understaffed, expensive healthcare. PT has some of the worst upper management I’ve ever experienced. reviews have been delayed for over a year, and promises of financial compensation are repeatedly broken. Upper management keeps claiming that hard work and loyalty will be rewarded, but they absolutely are not. Instead, they continually expect employees to go above and beyond, working extra hours and dealing with highly stressful changes, and gives them empty promises in return. Staffing is also a huge issue - the company has been understaffed for a long time, and it seems like more work and extra projects are added constantly without the proper staff size to handle them. Almost every person I work with is consistently stressed out about the workload, and many are clearly unhappy about it on a daily basis. Lastly, the CEO and HR rep are horrible. Neither treat the employees here with respect or concern for their wellbeing. The CEO has been known to loudly use offensive, bigoted language, and talks down to the supervisors. The HR rep is rude and dismissive, and is someone I would never be comfortable going to with a problem or concern. After you’ve worked here for a bit and get to know them, you get a strong sense that this is not a company that values your time, efforts, or even you as an individual.

Pros

..you'd automatically be paid more to start, and probably be afforded more respect. Being a cog in a machine was always just a visual to me until this company. I've worked there for several years and haven't been able to hold on to friends through work because this place goes through employees like tissue paper. They have absolutely no management competency; it's all play-as-you-go; And extremely clique-y. A lot of obvious favoritism. If you worked at Burger King you'd atleast start with 15$/hr, but this place will start you at less and stress you out twice as much. Meanwhile, the management will laugh and joke about how you are underpaid while they rake in well over what the gen. pop. of the company is paid. Do not bother giving them a two-week notice if you intend to quit; they will drop employees like flies with absolutely no notice. *The most important question to ask now of prospective employers is: "what measures did you take to protect your employees during the coronavirus pandemic?" ---> A great deal of my co-workers have been "furloughed" or simply terminated with absolutely no notice, due to the virus. Pay attention to how a company treats its employees in their time of need let alone a global pandemic. This company has been a sinking ship from the moment it was started and the management has been holding a pail trying to bail out the flooding water by churning through employees without batting an eye.
