Great for Part-Time Work - Anonymous employee PRO Club Employee Review

Pros

Free gym membership, good benefits, great pay, and discounts throughout the club. My co-workers are a huge part of why I've stayed as long as I have (plus the pay is pretty good for my workload although I may be an exception). The clientele is steady and the gym will only continue to grow. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a part-time employer.

Cons

Over-time is generally not allowed even though many departments seem understaffed. Management is pretty disorganized and the upper management cares way to much about revenue than it's employee's at times. They are extremely nitpicky on some very weird rules that create the "PROBEST" culture of ProClub. Everything is set up to mimic Disneylands culture of world class customer service and creating an experience which is kind of weird in my opinion.

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. We do have a service model that reflects Disney's service standards, and we do everything we can to make that clear to candidates when they are in the application process. The culture may not be the right fit for everyone, but it is something that sets us apart from our competitors - it is our greatest desire to create fun and memorable experiences for all of our guests. I am sorry to hear your perception of management is that it is disorganized and revenue focused. I'd love to help improve how our employees perceive their managers and am open to any feedback you'd like to offer. Please feel free to email me at mclarke@proclub.com.

Pros

Friendly staff, supportive day-to-day culture, and big events that are legitimately impressive and enjoyable.

Cons

Small teams carrying a massive workload. Payroll issues happened more than they should. Uniforms weren’t my favorite.
