      Pros

      People are generally nice. Generally open to job changes/rotations (24 mo), lots of opportunities if you can network. People generally care.

      Cons

      VERY political depending on business unit. People seem to be proud of being an "early bird" and it becomes a competition (vicious cycle) to see who comes earlier (5:30 am). Slightly below industry pay (close to par). Argument is Pittsburgh (HQ) is a cheaper city to live in. The company, the people, the management, is CHEAP AS FK. You are a number. Tons of layoffs. Read between the lines, even if you are a rock star.

      Pros

      - Education benefits (but access/support depends on your manager) - Flexible workplace (work hours/wfh) - Diverse workforce.

      Cons

      - Does not support employee promotions. Very difficult to get promoted if you are not an engineer. - Low pay, salary increases depend on manager. For the past couple years, most employees did not even receive adjustment for inflation. - Constantly loses top talent because management is unwilling to invest to keep good employees.
