Pros

- Amazing group of girls to work with - Sean retail development manager

Cons

I would not recommend working here. The workplace culture is deeply toxic, with poor leadership, favoritism, and little accountability at management level. Communication is inconsistent, workloads are excessive, and employee concerns are often ignored rather than addressed. One of the biggest issues was the clear protection of certain individuals within management. I raised serious concerns about the conduct and behavior of a member of management through the proper channels, only to face retaliation afterward because the person involved was related to the owner. Instead of handling the issue professionally and fairly, the situation became hostile and uncomfortable for anyone who spoke up. This created an environment where employees felt unsafe raising legitimate concerns, knowing favoritism outweighed fairness or professionalism. Morale was extremely low, turnover was high, and many employees felt undervalued and unsupported also when issues were raised we were gaslit by owner While there are hardworking staff members trying their best, the company culture ultimately makes it difficult to grow professionally or feel respected as an employee.

Pros

• Team morale is amazing, working with girls who are supportive, collaborative and willing to help each other. Small team with amazing communication - sense of teamwork, reliability and trust in our specific store. • Working independently, providing a space to express creativity via giving input on floor plans, VM, organisation, etc.. Also promotes problem solving skills, customer service, organisation, etc. • Respect from management is great, truly feel appreciated and always receive compassion and empathy. They welcome feedback and will discuss any issues or queries professionally, appropriately and fairly. • Overall company vibes are brilliant, always great banter amongst staff and management, discussing excitement about launches, plans for stores, etc. • Generosity from management, receiving gift sets for Christmas while also running incentives to win full collections of clothes (which also provided great motivation when Christmas in retail becomes overwhelming, also added a fun rivalry between store locations, light hearted competition) • Staff discount and provided uniform pieces

Cons

• Very little negatives… • Located within dunnes stores, stockrooms are frustrating but management has assisted in ensuring accessibility. • Working independently can be difficult when there is a lot of tasks, deliveries and rearranging floors on the same day, etc. • Short breaks

Pros

Great relationship and rapport built between both team members and managers. Managers were greatly supportive and accommodating. Great moral between the entire team country wide, made the working day great as you knew you had a great support system there for you. With there being no daily in store managers, they never failed to accommodate to their best ability. They welcomed feedback and were always willing to discuss any problems or concerns with the shop floor. Overall the company is an extremely professional, but fun environment for workers.

Cons

Only issues were hours, which is nothing negative to the company, just with it being a small section located in Dunnes it is understandable that hours varied.
