Pros

Home daily, ample pto, decent insurance, newer equipment

Cons

Macon dispatcher is not local and is completely out of touch with her workers. She is friendly when she is in the office, but turns to a nasty mr Hyde personality when she is not in the office. She disrespects her workers by not listening to what they need, hangs up on them mid sentence, treats them as incompetent, and expects them to problem solve without providing key details to what the problem is. Failure to solve the problem will get you denied any loads untill you figure out a solution to what the problem is. If we inquire into functions of the business to get a better understanding of the industry so we can function better with the company by having an understanding of how the plant operations work, we get treated as it's none of our business. Just do your job!

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. At POET, we are committed to maintaining a professional workplace where team members are treated with respect and where clear expectations, accountability, and confidentiality are core standards across our operations. We also want to clarify that team member compensation and personnel records are maintained within secure electronic HR systems rather than physical documents, and access to that information is strictly restricted in accordance with company policy. The situation described does not align with the processes we have in place to protect confidential information. Individual experiences can vary, and we encourage team members to raise questions or concerns through the appropriate internal channels so they can be reviewed and addressed in a timely and constructive way. Our focus remains on supporting a collaborative, purpose-driven environment where team members can contribute, grow, and succeed. — POET
