If you have a termination clause that clearly states that you must be informed in writing 10 business days prior to its ending, you tried to back date it, when one refuses to acknowledge a back dated document, then the alternate is just let you hang and send an email saying that "x" day was your last day of employment, leaving you not covered for almost 2 weeks worked past the "final" day.
Who does that?
