Pros

Work-life balance is top tier at least for my department. Compensation could be better but it's easy work. Transparent financials from the upper management with weekly/monthly meetings.

Cons

Feels like a retirement home but not in a negative way but the average age in the company is much higher than most places. They have been hiring more younger people but mostly in tech.

Pros

The first few years were full of growth , support, and opportunities to thrive. I had an excellent boss who set me up for success who I still keep in touch with today . My first team was very supportive as well. The company invested in professional development early on

Cons

After a restructure, I was expected to work on East Coast hours despite behind hired as a West Coast employee and my team wouldn't work late either or be flexible. My role was diminished and tasks were taken from, although I had my process and I was successful. I was reassigned to a team with a micromanaging supervisor who was not supportive. Management handled my layoff poorly. I was called at 6am, given 30 minutes to pack up, and quickly locked out. Severance negotiations were frustrating, especially with conflicting laws between New Jersey, Oregon, and California. I had to fight to tooth and nail to get what I have worked for. The company's culture shifted from supportive and growth-focuses to rigid, unsupportive, and micromanaged. Shortly after , my first supervisor got laid off after 16 years and went through a similar process.
