Pros

1. A great fintech product that is being built in real time, where you can feel your direct impact. You can clearly see how fast the company is growing and expanding into new markets. 2. A modern tech stack: AWS, Golang, Java/Kotlin, Kubernetes, and many other up-to-date technologies. During development, you can also use popular AI tools like Codex, Gemini, and Claude. 3. The salary is pegged to the euro for regions outside of the EU.

Cons

1. High intensity: During the workday, you may face multiple tasks and priorities at the same time. The workload can be quite demanding, with several business-critical items running in parallel. 2. Working hours: Some teams may require night shifts. Since most customers are based in the Americas, you should also be prepared for late-night calls. 3. Work-life balance: There can be a large number of non-essential meetings, and some managers tend to ask excessive questions or micromanage. In my team, there has also been pressure to work on weekends and holidays without additional compensation. 4. Compensation and benefits: In my view, the salary is below average for such a high-intensity workload. Additionally, there are no stock options for most employees; these may only be available to management.
