Pros

Higher pay usually compared to other places. Company events are diverse and can get super fun. Firm deals with all project types and scale in many different regions and has multiple offices throughout the US which people cross-collaborate or can even transfer. Therefore, job is pretty stable and secured. Met some of the most friendly and extremely nice coworkers.

Cons

No WFH/Hybrid schedule and probably never going to be despite there are talented people leaving for these reasons. Has a mildly flexible work time but still expects people to just be glued to the office throughout work time which leaves it impossible for people to take care of occasional urgent matters or appointments and even when you do, everything needs to be reported to your principal but they don't notify employees under them when they need to be gone or working remotely. Leadership is very stuck on old-style in-office work operations and its frustrating for younger generation. Feels stiff some times, hierarchal (principals are at the top and everyone just works for them and also they give us a review and feedback which should also go both ways but there are no set system for staff employees to give principals feedback in return, not interested or opened to hear feedback from staff). Too formal at least in the Houston headquarter office with people dressing up "corporate". Absolutely no welcoming mentorship for entry level staff and has this unknown assumption that intern staff will already know everything and hand down work without much guidance. Feel being watched and monitored and insanely micro-managed.

Pros

Offices are small, still feels like a small office to some degree.

Cons

I would not recommend working here. The work environment is toxic, plagued by favoritism, sexism, and racism. Talented and experienced individuals are undervalued and treated the same as those with minimal qualifications or accountability, due to an extremely flat and poorly managed organizational structure. There are no real opportunities for growth or professional development. Management fosters a culture that burns people out, rather than supporting employees, they pressure them until they quit. Projects are consistently understaffed, and there is little to no investment in the necessary tools or software to do the job properly. Overall, it's a demoralizing and unsustainable place to work.
