Pros

The co workers in my department are wonderful and the location of the corporate office is close to home.

Cons

The benefits in relations to time off is very poor. you get 10 paid holidays and any unexcused time off is held against you regardless of the issue and I have seen people fired for taking too much time off. They say they are a family supportive company, they are ONLY to those not working for them or if they like you. They play favorites! Regarding HR, they are outsourced and don't care what happens within the company since they are not held responsible for things. A employee could be treated very wrong and when its brought to HR, they look the other way. HR does this because upper management doesn't care. Why would anyone want to go to HR? Nothing is done and those who currently work for PFP have to come to places like this. Regarding management, these are the chosen favorites. Anyone who is promoted are the companies favorites. there are a couple individuals who have been drinking the PFP kool aid and make choices and promises that are NOT in the best interest in the employees, even if its illegal. If you are looking to work for this company, be warned, be very warned! You are either liked and they worship you, or you are not liked and get treated raw! This is NOT a long term career and they talk out of their butts during your hiring process and training process. You may think you are liked, but give it time and you will see what boat you are afloat in. Trust the posts on glassdoor. Positive ones are either by well liked employees or those trying to make PFP look good. The negative comments are true!

Pros

Great support, awesome culture, lots of ways to grow within the company, incredible mission.

Cons

Wish more people knew how important it is to have insurance and protect their families. PFP does a great job of educating but it can be hard when many customers say "no".
