      Pros

      I may not be an activist, but what I am good at is programming computers. It feels so good that I can apply my skills to further such a wonderful cause. I work in the IT department and the people there are some of the most diverse and talented that I've ever met. The personal time off and the holidays are simply beyond anything I've ever had anywhere else I've worked.

      Cons

      Lower end of the pay scale.

      Working for a nonprofit will not be highly lucrative, but you will be compensated in so many other valuable ways!
