A so-called analyst role that grinds you down and wastes your time - BEM Analyst PEG Employee Review

Pros

A paycheck was the only positive thing I took away from this job.

Cons

I was thrown into projects with impossible deadlines, outdated tools, and no real support. Instead of using my skills to analyze and problem-solve, I was left cleaning up endless mistakes created by poor planning. Every day felt like running in circles, chasing shifting requirements that changed at the last second. It was exhausting, demoralizing, and clear that no one cared whether the work was sustainable — only that it got pushed out fast.

Pros

They provide paid training for certifications, didn't micromanage, let me create my own schedule, provided benefits, a gas card, and monthly car maintenance allowance

Cons

Over schedule inspections. They claimed overtime would be few and far in-between, but they never put a cap on the number of inspections they inspected. I was getting scheduled 10-20 per day, and they take about 1.5-2 hours per inspection. The inspections were spread out in a 1.5-2 hour radius away from the center of the city. Sometimes I would have 4-5 hours of drive time on top of 12-18 hours worth of inspections. Work in the elements. I got burnt out very fast. When I brought this to the office's attention, it fell on deaf ears. Eventually the squeaky wheel was replaced.
