Pros

Excellent work/life balance Autonomy to perform your duties Good mix of experienced and greener staff to learn from/with Honest two-way communication with leadership Hands on learning both with clients and prospects

Cons

While it doesn't pertain to me specifically, working 100% remote can be an adjustment to someone not used to that setting.

Pros

Direct operational management was good to work with and understanding when it came to scheduling needs.

Cons

Although dispatch was not over me at all they treated me like they had control over everything I did. They would try to dictate routes and timing even though they were not familiar with the area I was in or the needs of the facilities. They also didn't understand patient care at all so if there were delays they would freak out. I would get random calls throughout the day from dispatchers looking to be confrontational about the smallest things. I was doing a high volume of cases, had good relationships with the facilities, and the other techs in my region, but for some reason dispatch made this job so frustrating and difficult, they are the reason that ultimately I decided to leave.
