I joined PCML with enthusiasm, but unfortunately my experience was quite short and not what I expected. During my time there, I was never fully involved in the company’s objectives or strategy, and at times it felt like there were unrealistic expectations, particularly around lead generation and identifying new clients without clear tools or direction. The most unexpected moment was being called into a meeting with HR and my line manager where I was informed, without prior warning, that a two-week consultation period was starting due to business restructuring and that my role was no longer required. I had only been in the role a few months and never really had the chance to demonstrate my full potential. I tried to seek union support, but given my short tenure, this was limited. I even suggested being redeployed within the company, but this was not considered. After two weeks, my contract was terminated, leaving me with no job despite originally being hired on a permanent basis. Overall, it felt like a case of poor planning, lack of transparency, and limited regard for employee well-being. While I’m grateful I quickly found a new opportunity elsewhere, my experience at PCML was disappointing and left me questioning the company’s communication and values.

Worked here from June 2019 until February 2024 (relocated due to partner being pregnant) and I really enjoyed my time here. Me and my partner moved back March 2025, a job came up and I applied, I then got a message saying they weren’t giving me the job. I’ve been waiting waiting and waiting for that job to come up and then they show me no loyalty. Employees that work there now that left for more money yet the company took them back on in a heartbeat, if you’re looking for loyalty, do not approach them.
